Last Week In Pony is a weekly blog post to catch you up on the latest news for the Pony programming language. To learn more about Pony check out our website, our Twitter account @ponylang, our users’ mailing list or join us on IRC.

Got something you think should be featured? There’s a GitHub issue for that! Add a comment to the open “Last Week in Pony” issue.

Items of note

Last Week’s Playground:

Working with isolates and tuples can be challenging given the extreme restriction of an iso capability. This playground covers putting isolates into a tuple, as well as extracting them back out.

News and Blog Posts

  • Do you use the Sublime Text Pony module? You might want to update it. Stefan Achatz has added a couple fixes in the last few weeks. Nothing huge, but… it is an update. Didn’t realize there was Sublime Text support? There is… feel free to contribute more fixes yourself at Sublime Pony

  • The Ponylang emacs mode got an update recently thanks to spreadLink. By the time you read this, version 0.0.11 of ponylang-mode should have been released and be available via melpa.

A note from Sean, if you are interested in helping him as a maintainer of ponylang-mode, drop him an email sean@monkeysnatchbanana.com.
